Let Me Tell You A Bit About Me

Hi, I'm Jill. My passion for diet and health began over 25 year ago in my early 20’s when – following a double dose of antibiotics for tonsillitis - I was diagnosed with Candidiasis (a proliferation of yeast within my gut). The candidiasis impacted my mood, concentration, skin and digestive system.

 

Whilst conventional medicine only offered me fungicidal drugs that would damage my liver, I found that controlling my diet managed the candida... and ended my frequent tonsillitis.

 

Almost 20 years later my body was in crisis of a different kind. Following decades of driving myself hard and being unreasonable with my expectations of myself, my addiction to adrenaline and relentless stress had taken its toll. I was exhausted and my body had had enough. I crashed and burned.

 

I had always been the 'healthiest' and fittest person in my office. I did everything ‘right’ in terms of food and exercise. But I hadn’t appreciated the impact of stress. 

 

By the time I hit 40 I was unable to exercise at all. I struggled to function and a rush of adrenaline would exhaust me. I had a leaky gut, multiple food intolerances and nutrient deficiencies, allergies and skin conditions.

 

It was time to get serious about my health and heal. 

 

I still have a busy life - I run a yoga business, coach, hold workshops, and write - so I know what it takes to heal and maintain vitality within the context of a non-stop life.

My purpose is to share my decades of experimentation, experiences and learnings, so that you can get to good health quickly, and LLiV, thrive and glow with aliveness.
