Over this unsettling time, our goal is simple: to support you physically, mentally and emotionally through this unique period. At the moment all our lives are full of unknowns and huge uncertainty, and it’s important to have some things that are constants, and which can be relied upon to bring stability and relief.
We hope our classes will be one of those things, and they will be streamed live online via Zoom until further notice.
We anticipate that you might need a break to stretch and move during the day, so have introduced a 45min lunchtime class on Mon, Wed and Fri. Classes will be All Levels and Beginners are welcome to attend.
This is a new thing for us as well as you, so please bare with us through any glitches that might come up. Thank you.
Click on the schedule as normal to book into class. You'll see all classes are highlighted as "Online Classes". Check that there's an email address on your account so you can be sent the link for the class.
You'll be emailed a Zoom link within an hour of signing up for class, or, within a few minutes if you're close to the class start time. This email will come from FitGrid LIVE. Just click on the link a few mins before class. If it's your first time on Zoom you'll be asked to download the app first. This takes just a minute or 2.
Set up your device so you can see the screen clearly. It's also helpful for the teacher to be able to see you so they can call out relevant cues, so make sure you can be seen clearly too. If you're feeling shy and don't want to be seen - no problem - you can choose to switch your video off. If you usually use blocks and a strap, please improvise with a belt and book.
Help us make this work for you. This is a new experience for you, us and our teachers. Whilst working at home you may need classes at different times, or find shorter classes work better. Help us to get it right.
