If you're serious about your running and staying on track with your training, make yoga an essential part of your training program.
A tight tense body is more prone to painful and annoying injuries that can set your running training back for weeks.
Yoga will help you achieve an aligned body with long, flexible muscles that glide smoothly, meaning you're less likely to pick up injuries and your training stays on plan.
Knowing how to breathe helps runners go faster and stronger for longer.
In yoga, we focus on breathing to help you build lung capacity, open up your diaphragm, and optimise your breaths. As your breathing improves you'll find your running flows, you push through fatigue, and maintain form more easily.

"Yoga has massively helped my running times, my recovery, and most importantly, I've been injury free since I started yoga. My Physio had been recommending yoga to me for years and I'd always resisted. I'm so glad I took the plunge - I've beaten all my previous personal bests since I've taken up yoga, and am so glad I found LLiV."

We're not concerned about our yoga looking pretty, or getting you in 'ego' poses. Our yoga is intelligently designed to work through the body, systematically warming, stretching and opening the areas that modern life and running cause to tighten.
Our classes are heated, but not hot. The heat helps you ease in to your stretches more safely and reduces the chance of injury from stretching when your body is cold, whilst avoiding overstretching from thinking your body is warmer than it is.
Our emphasis on breathing will not only help you find your running focus and flow. It also helps switch OFF your stress response and switch ON your body's healing systems, meaning you leave class set up for ongoing healing, recovery and repair.
We get it - you're a runner not a yogi. Our classes are unpretentious, welcoming and inclusive. So whether you're working with tight hip flexors, hamstrings that don't want to give, or you just want to find some relief from that tired and tense feeling, we're here for you.
